“Piccole Poesie di Famiglia”. Meeting with the poet Michał Rusinek

Do you really think a normal family exists? The well-known Polish poet Michał Rusinek, former personal secretary of the Nobel Prize-winning poet Wisława Szymborska, presents us in this book with a complete and extravagant catalogue of his family members through 50 small poems.

Together with poet Stefano Raimondi and Linda Del Sarto, poet and translator, we explore the world of children’s poetry and reflect on the theme of autobiographical writing and poetry translation.

A collection of poems written and illustrated in an ironic, fresh and hilarious tone, inviting young readers to look at those around them with different eyes and try their hand at drawing the family tree of their own family.

The poetess Chiara Carminati, winner of the Premio Strega Ragazzi e Ragazze, Premio Nati per Leggere and Premio Andersen, edited the Italian translation.
