Let’s learn to count in LIS with Corgi and the LISten Association

Corgi is a little dog full of energy. He’s very excited today because he’s just learnt to count… and we’re going to learn to count too, but in LIS, the Italian Sign Language, together with Alessandra from the LISten association.

WHO IS LISten?

LISten is an idea, a dream, a space where we can go beyond silence and tread lightly on emotions. LISten is an initiative that aims to unite two seemingly distant worlds: the world of the deaf and that of the hearing. Deaf and hearing people doing things together, talking together, learning together, smiling together. Deaf and hearing people not as groups needing mutual support, but as groups that enrich one another. LISten is about feeling through emotions and vibrations. Communicating through Italian Sign Language (LIS) or lip-reading, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that it is always with the mutual respect that characterises the desire to come together.
